Anne & John Batton left a message on December 17, 2010:
I met Abbie in 7th grade and we remained friends through high school. My first date with my husband was a "dinner" that Abbie and I cooked for John & his friend Bob at the farm in Lincroft, Dec. 53! Bob didn't last long but John & I are still married after 51 years. I cannot tell you how saddened I was to find that Abbie had passed. We haven't had contact for years but I can still remember the good times and what a talented seamstress she was. My deepest sympathy to John and family. Anne

To the Brockwell Family. Abbie and I started teaching at the same time at Monmouth Regional H.S. and worked together for over 40 yrs. I always found Abbie to be a true professional who was always concerned about the success of her students. She was also available whenever any teacher needed advice or help in any way. I will be praying for her and her family. God bless all of you. Ted Schloesser
