Alicia Pepe, 72, of Holmdel, passed away Monday night surrounded by her family.
Alicia was born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Staten Island, NY and graduated from New Dorp High School. Following high school, she met the love of her life, Joseph, at the Malibu Dude Ranch in PA, one month later he proposed. Later that year on November 7th the two would marry and ultimately settle in Staten Island where they raised their family. After spending time raising her children, she spent the majority of her career as a Vice President at Citibank in their Private Banking division.
Alicia loved spending time with her grandchildren, reading a good book, playing bocci ball, crocheting and loved to dance, especially with her husband. She also enjoyed a good horror flick.
Alicia is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Joseph Pepe of Holmdel; her children: Jeanette Walsh and her husband Thomas of Staten Island, Jennifer Meier and her husband Michael of Staten Island and Joseph L. Pepe and his wife Serafina of Lincroft; her Brother Brian Koehler and his wife Eileen, and her sister Marianne Grandon; and her beloved grandchildren Nicole, Jayden, Sebastian, Jake and Lucian.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 16th from 2-4 and 6-9 PM and Friday, December 17th from 2-4 and 6-9 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Saturday, December 18th at 10 AM at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Rd, Holmdel. A burial will follow at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery.
