Angelo Berardesco, 91, of West Long Branch, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Wednesday, March 30.
Born in Asbury Park, Angelo graduated from Asbury Park High School. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. In 1981, Angelo retired from Electronic Associates Inc. and for the next twenty-five years, he was a security guard at Monmouth Park.
Angelo was a member of the Holy Name Society at Holy Trinity RC Church. He was a devoted NY Giants fan and enjoyed taking cruises. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.
Angelo is predeceased by his parents, Rose and Joseph; his brothers Daniel and Roy and his sister Jenny. Surviving is his loving wife, Margie; his daughter & son-in-law Debbie & Sam Guidetti; his granddaughter Kristy & her husband Jon Martin and his great granddaughter Ava Martin.
Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, April 4th at 10:00 am at Holy Trinity RC Church, 408 Prospect Street, Long Branch. Entombment in Woodbine Mausoleum will be private.
