Ann was a truly amazing woman. She lived life to the fullest! There was nothing she couldn’t do when she tried. She never let her visual handicap get in the way and her accomplishments in life are a true testament to who she was. Many people myself included were blessed by her presence. A true inspiration!! May God Bless you Ann !!

Ann was such an accomplished and beautiful person. She did not allow her visual impairment to interfere with her goals, and how she wanted to live her life. On a personal note, Ann inspired me to follow in her footsteps and become a special education teacher. I spent time observing Ann in her classroom witnessing her patience and enthusiasm with her students. For this, I will always be grateful. Ann, you will be missed. Give my Mom and Dad a hug for me! Until we meet again. God Bless. Love, Patti

Ann‘s mother was my father‘s cousin. With most of the rest of the family still living in New York, our families got together often. We would visit each other‘s homes or meet at the beach. When we were children, Ann accompanied us on a memorable trip to Canada. Being a little older, she helped my mother keep track of the four of us. Ann was a truly amazing person. Visually impaired from birth, she was a real go-getter and never let anything stand in her way. She went away to college, became a teacher, commuted to New York for her masters, traveled, swam, played tennis, ice skated, skied, you name it. It seemed there was nothing that she wouldn’t try. Ann was intelligent, funny, kind, and a great conversationalist. She was a role model to all on how to live a meaningful life, Godspeed, Ann. We will miss you and your beautiful smile.
