Anne E. Salmeri, 79 of Long Branch, passed away September 11th, 2012 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Anne was born in Jersey City and lived in Wyoming for two years before returning to Long Branch. She was a 1952 graduate of the Monmouth Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. After becoming a certified registered nurse, Ms. Salmeri went on to work at Monmouth Medical Center until her retirement in 1992. Anne was of Native American descent. She was an avid art collector of Native American works. She is survived by her loving son, William Coughlin, of Long Branch. Visitation will be held Friday, September 14th, 10:30am until 12:30pm, at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00pm at the Holy Trinity RC Church in Long Branch. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Middletown. Donations may be made to St. Joseph's Indian School, 1301 North Main Street, Chamberlin, SD 57325. You may light a candle of condolence by visiting www.woolleyboglioli.com.
