Annette P. March, 74, of Colts Neck, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Annette was born in Wallington, NJ and lived in Toms River, NJ; Cincinnati, OH; and Duxbury, MA before settling in Colts Neck in 1977. Annette received her Bachelor's Degree from William Paterson College and began her teaching career in Pine Beach. After raising 3 wonderful children, Annette went back to teaching at Cedar Drive as a teacher's aide assisting special needs children. Annette loved gardening, crocheting, knitting and cross stitch. She loved doing her crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. She adored spending time with her 3 beautiful grandchildren. Annette is predeceased by her parents, Michael and Nellie Pollak and her sister Yvonne DeRuiter. Annette is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Donald; devoted children, Peter March of Colts Neck, Jennifer March of Little Ferry and Elizabeth Emmett and her husband Simon of Marlboro; her three grandchildren, Jack, Ellie and Madeline Emmett; and her brother and his wife, Michael and Gerry Pollak. Visitation will be on Monday, April 6th from 3 to 7 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday April 7th at St. Mary's Church, Route 34, Colts Neck, NJ at 9 AM. A private interment will follow at St. Michaels Cemetery, South Hackensack, NJ.
