Veteran – U.S.Air Force – Korean War ANTHONY P. MARZARIO, 80, of HOLMDEL, passed away on Friday October 30th, at the Riverview Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family, after a valiant battle with cancer. Born in New York City, he lived in the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn prior to moving to Holmdel 22 years ago. Anthony served his country as an Airman First Class in the U.S.Air Force during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement in 2007, he was a Chief Estimator in the Construction industry for many years. He was a communuicant of St. Catharines R.C.Church in Holmdel. Anthony was a devoted Husband, and a loving father and grandfather.. He was predeceased by his parents and three brothers, John, Joseph, and Rocco Marzario. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Gloria, his son Frank Marzario of Toms River, his daughters Toni Ann Formichelli of Holmdel, Jeannie and her husband Gregory Acquaviva of Holmdel, and Gloria Marzario of Holmdel, a sister Marie Berg, and his grandchildren Bobby and Christine Formichelli, Ronald and Anthony Acquaviva, and Anthony and Nicky Marzario. Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 – South Holmdel Road, Holmdel NJ on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at 9:00 AM at St. Catharines R.C.Church, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, N.J. In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Anthony P.
