Barbara A. Carroll, 77 of Ocean Twp. passed away Sunday, July 1st at her home. Mrs. Carroll was born in Long Branch and had lived in Ocean Twp. for many years before moving to Spring Lake Heights, she moved back to Ocean Twp. 4 years ago. She was a long time parishioner of St. Michael's RC Church, Long Branch. She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Martin 'Bud' Carlidge, Jr. in 1999. Surviving is her husband, Robert P. Carroll, DDS; two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen J. and Christina Carlidge, Toms River and Mark T. and Katherine Carlidge, Glenside, Pa.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Donald Bolger, Pittsford, NY and Pat and Jim Cary, Ocean Twp.; five grandchildren, Brian T. and Tara Carlidge, Erin L. and John Frantantoni, Megan Hathaway, Jack Carlidge and Eric Carlidge; one great granddaughter, Olivia Frantantoni; five step-children and 13 step grandchildren. Funeral mass will be celebrated, Thursday July 5th, 10:30 AM, St. Michael's RC Church, 800 Ocean Ave., Long Branch. Interment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport.
