Basile A. Nahas, Sr. 84, of Colts Neck passed away Sunday, December 9 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Alexandria, Egypt Mr. Nahas immigrated for a better life to the United States in 1967, and has resided in Colts Neck for the past 40 years. Mr. Nahas was an International Business Consultant, world traveler, and fluent in 5 languages. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Surviving is his wife of 53 years Barbara Nahas, two sons Christian Nahas (Donna), and Basile Nahas, Jr. (Kelle), five daughters Pascale Coppola (Juan), Karin Roros (Louis), Natalie Callaci (Joseph), Mylene DiStefano (David), and Nicole Nahas (fiance John), and 12 grandchildren. He was one of seven children, and is survived by two sisters and one brother. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel with a service being offered at 7:30PM.
