Beatrice Zoppi Alberti, 89, a lifelong resident of Long Branch died, Saturday December 17th at Monmouth Medical Center. Mrs. Alberti lived her life devoted to her family; she loved her parents Rocco and Grace Zoppi and all her brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews and passed down all the values, love and traditions that were instilled in her to her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Alberti grew up on Cottage Place and later resided with her family on West End Ave. She enjoyed many trips to Atlantic City and days at Monmouth Park. She attended for many years St. Michael's RC Church, Long Branch and had devoted her prayers and donations to St. Jude and the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She was a resilient, strong, loving, generous, nurturing woman who would always put her family and friends before herself. She will be greatly missed. Mrs. Alberti was pre-deceased by her husband Alfred L. 'Foxy' Alberti in 1999 and her son-in-law Ronald Cattelona, died in 2014. Surviving are her loving children, Joann Cattelona, Long Branch, John Alberti, West Long Branch, Maria and Glen Jelliff, West Long Branch and Darlene and Edward Koval, Houston, TX.; her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Barbara Zoppi, Howell; her grandchildren, Ron and Barbara Cattelona, James Cattelona, Patty and Angel Caraballo, Michael Cattelona, Gina Jelliff, Brandon Beck and Michael Jelliff; her great grandchildren, Ron and Nicole Cattelona, Kyle and Shayna Cattelona, Christian Caraballo, Lola Cattelona and Alana Cattelona; her great-great grandchildren, Ronnie and Luke Cattelona. Visitation Tuesday, Dec. 20th, 4 to 8 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday Dec. 21st, 10:30 am, St. Michael's RC Church, Long Branch. Interment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport.
