Betty DeFelice, 88, of Holmdel passed away on October 7th, 2018 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. Betty was born in Newark, N.J. She was an Accounts Payable Supervisor for the Bendix Corporation years ago. She was a parishioner of St. Catharine R.C. Church in Holmdel.
Betty loved to read. She enjoyed Readers Digest, and crossword puzzles as well. She always kept up with current events and loved to travel. Bowling was also an activity that she enjoyed.
She was predeceased by her parents, and by her sister Geraldine. She is survived by her husband John P. DeFelice, Sr., by her son John P. DeFelice Jr. and his wife Kimberley of Middletown, NJ, daughters Jacqueline and Patricia DeFelice of Holmdel, and Linda Ann Jeal and her husband John of Shrewsbury, grandchildren Devin Patrick and Kailin Keegan DeFelice, brothers Frank and Ralph Capozzi and his wife Maryanne, and by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel on Thursday Oct. 11, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday Oct. 12th at St. Catharine R.C. Church, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel at 9:15 A.M. Entombment will then follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum, Keyport, NJ.
