Bruce Thomas Rutherford II, 48, of Manalapan, passed away in New York City, Wednesday.
Bruce was born in Ohio and raised in Brooklyn. As a young man, he developed a keen number of skills in craftsmanship. There was nothing he couldn’t do or fix. He utilized these skills in the local 157 Carpenters Union in Manhattan.
He loved the New York Yankees, Giants, watching golf, and spending time with his dog Princess Dianna.
Bruce was a source of light in every room he entered. He’d spend hours laughing with his wife, no matter what they were doing. He had an incredible outlook on life and was always full of optimism and positivity. He was ready and willing to help anyone who needed it.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents Bruce and Karen Rutherford. Surviving is his wife, Jennifer Rutherford, and their daughter, Nicole, his sister Stacy, and her husband Michael, his brother Brian, and his wife Nicole, his sister Kimmy, his nieces and nephews, Amanda, Daniel, Taylor, Joseph, Michael, James, Matthew and Michael, and his in-laws, Tom and Sharon Hickey. He is also survived by his dogs, who he loved so much, Duke, Dominick and Dianna.
