Helene, David, Jana, Jack and Esther, Although we have never met, I feel like I have known you for years. Carl and I spend many hours exchanging updates on our families. One of the last times we got together for dinner, he brought his laptop and showed us all the pictures from his trip to Berlin. I have the latest pictures from your visit to the US with updates on Jack. I also have a grandson named Jack and that seemed to give us an added reason to check in with each other from time-to-time (although, carl was better at checking in than I was). His smile, laugh and energy always gave me a lift. I know you will miss him dearly. Carl touched a lot of lives and many, many friends will also miss him. May God bless you, your family and Carl, Craig Conti Northborough, Massachusetts

I thank you for the many years of friendship and memories we shared together. I feel a tremendous loss in my life that I will carry for a long time. I will miss our Sunday morning rendezvous where we had all the answers to every problem. My thoughts and prayer are with the Matorin family. Warmest regards, Jerry and Anna Aversano
