Charlotte R. Silverman, 103, of Tinton Falls, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Friday, August 2, 2024.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Charlotte resided in Wayside, NJ and Lake Worth, FL, before moving to Tinton Falls fourteen years ago.
Charlotte, along with her husband Henry, operated Decorator’s Fair in Oakhurst, NJ for many years.
Charlotte was predeceased by her husband Henry, her brother Charles Joseph, and her sister Harriet Strauss. Surviving is her daughter Anne Silverman of Tinton Falls and a loving family including her sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Charlotte was a remarkable and amazing woman of many talents and had many interests. She loved music and loved to sing, she loved reading, and she enjoyed playing bridge and Mah Jongg with her friends.
Charlotte was a member of Congregation Torat El, the Seabrook Jewish Community, and Hadassah.
Charlotte’s greatest love of all was her family. She loved spending time and celebrating life with her family, who enjoyed listening to her life stories.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 6th 10:00 am at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrel Street, Long Branch. Burial will follow in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
