Christine M. Carapucci, 46 of Middletown died on Thursday, March 31.
She was born in Brooklyn to Marie and Frank Gasparini in 1975.
Christine received her Bachelor’s Degree from Trenton State College and Master’s Degree in Education from St. John’s University, and taught AP English along with serving as Assistant Dean of Discipline at Staten Island Technical High School. Christine spent the last 17 years as a stay-at-home mom devoted to the activities of her kids, Christian and Allison.
She enjoyed healthy living and exercising, but also knew how to cook the best Italian food. Christine was a great host and was the hub for the family, bringing everyone together for all holidays. She had a brilliant mind and was an avid reader and writer. She completed the crosswords on the New York Times for several years. Christine always knew how to live life to the fullest. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband Michael Carapucci, her parents, her two children Christian Carapucci of Middletown and Allison Carapucci of Middletown, her sisters Diana Dossantos and Michele Delise and her faithful companion dog, Scout.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, April 6 at 10am at St. Benedict’s Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel.
In lieu of traditional remembrances, the family asks with gratitude that donations be made in her name to a scholarship fund at Christian Brothers Academy (www.cbalincroftnj.org) being set up by the family.
