Cory Aufiero, 19, passed away Friday, September 28th, in New Brunswick.
Cory was born in Staten Island. He graduated Colts Neck High School and was a sophomore at Rutgers University Business School.
Cory loved golf; his favorite golfer was Jordan Spieth. He played varsity golf in high school and was a member of the Colts Neck golf club where he also was an instructor. Come springtime, Cory could be found on the golf course.
He loved baseball and the Mets, snowmobiling, wave running with his brothers and family trips to Lake George. Always smiling, Cory enjoyed spending time with family and friends; his favorite was eating meatballs with the family and going camping on the weekends.
Cory was a brother of Kappa Sigma fraternity and has touched the lives of everyone he has met at Rutgers.
He was a natural leader and found peace in bringing happiness to others. Cory found a way to shed a ray of humor on every situation and lightened the mood everywhere he went. Prioritizing fun over everything, he separated himself from everyone else.
Surviving are his parents Henry & Darlene; his brothers and sister Henry III, Brandon and Courtney and his grandmother Diana Aufiero as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins that love him dearly.
