Dana Roussell

December 30, 1963 - March 1, 2025

Dana Roussell, 61 of West Long Branch died on Saturday, March 1st.

She was the owner and operator of Body Basics Massage a business that she founded and was very proud of. Dana enjoyed skiing and had skied all over the world. She also was an avid scuba diver, diving throughout the Caribbean Islands. Dana also loved to rock climb, climbing in Utah, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Maryland. In later years, Dana took up wood working and loved to carve animal sculptures.

Surviving is her husband, Ron Roussell; three children, Crystal Beckwith, Jillian Ribeiro and Ron Roussell; her parents, Ruth and Joseph Gervolino; her three brothers, Joseph Gervolino, James and his wife Allison Gervolino and John and his wife Susan Gervolino.

In accordance with Dana’s wishes, she will have a private cremation.

Although Dana was younger than me, we both started our careers as massage therapists about the same time. I started working for Dana around 1999ish. Off & on for a bit, but I've known her close to 25years. She was a fantastic therapist, a great boss, mentor and friend. I'm still in shock of her passing, but take comfort that she is no longer in pain. She's in our Lord's arms surrounded by those who've passed beforehand and who love her dearly. Forever in my heart Dana, until we meet again.😔💔🙏 Of course my deepest sympathies to all her family, whom I've come to know so well. (((💔)))
