My condolences to Lee & Family. We have lost such a wonderful person and the sadness is overwhelming. I met Doreen when we were in our early teens and by our twenties our lives went in different directions but over the past 50+ years our friendship never skipped a beat. It wasn't unusual for us to have 3 to 4 hour telephone conversations of reminiscing and laughter. I will miss you my dearest friend, may you Rest In Peace.

An Irish Prayer for Lee and Doreen. May god give you... For every storm, a rainbow For every tear, a smile For every care, a promise And a blessing in each trial. For every problem life sends A faithful friend to share For every sigh, a sweet song And an answer for each prayer We love you Lee and Doreen. Our hearts are broken with you. I hope you find some form of comfort being surrounded by your adorable family and sweet little grand babies. We will miss her sweet face, feisty fierce attitude and that NJ accent. All our love, Doc & Donna

Although I only knew Doreen for a relatively short time I considered her to be a very dear friend. I will always cherish the memories I have of our times together especially at the pool here at Chelsea Square and the vacation we had in the Outer Banks. I am grateful to her and Lee for inviting us to their beautiful condo in Cape Coral and showing us a really good time. Rest in Peace my beautiful friend! You are loved and missed by us all!
Jan Polito left a message on March 16, 2020:
Funny, smart, beautiful, social, kind, loving. Wife, mother, grandmother. But, to me she was a great friend. Made my day every time I was with her. I had many early morning calls with her. Even when her illness started, she would always make me laugh. I can’t begin to understand why she was taken from us too soon. Someone wanted her more than we did. I just choose to focus on the friend who made my life better and fuller. Rest In Peace Doreen. See you down the road.
