Earl B. Fowlkes, 76, of Monmouth Beach, died on Saturday, July 25.

He was born in Richmond, Virginia to the late Beaula and Earl Fowlkes. Earl worked in construction for the City of Lakewood for several years before retirement.

Earl is predeceased by his parents, his daughter Florence Fowlkes, and his brother, Charles Fowlkes.

Surviving are his daughters Bernadette Fowlkes, Charlette Strickland, Denise Townes, Eevette Fowlkes, and Gloria Fowlkes, 19 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

In accordance with Earl’s wishes, all services will be privately held.
