Edward Jay Koblenz, 68 passed away at his home in Asbury Park, NJ January 4th. He was born in Jersey City to loving parents Shirley & Philip Koblenz, formerly of Jersey City and Ocean Township, NJ. They are predeceased. Edward graduated from Asbury Park High School and Washington and Jefferson University, Washington, PA with honors. He attended medical school in Brussels later studying at Brookdale Community College and pursued a path as a paralegal until retiring. He is survived by his sister, Marilyn Koblenz Weiss and her husband Robert Weiss of Ocean Township, a niece Deb Walsh of Ocean Township, a nephew Steve Weiss of Plantation, FL and a great-nephew Kiernan Walsh of Ocean Township, NJ Edward had a generous and loving heart and was greatly loved. He will be dearly missed. May he rest in peace. Graveside services Sunday January 10th 1:00 pm at Agudath Achim Cemetery, West Bangs Avenue, Neptune.
