Elizabeth A. Williams, 81, Long Branch passed away Wednesday, September 23rd in Ft. Myers, FL. Mrs. Williams was born in Orange and lived in Long Branch for many years before moving to Ft. Myers in 1995. She started her career as a Registered Nurse graduating from Orange Memorial Hospital. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree from Jersey State College, Mrs. Williams went on to Monmouth College where she received her Master's degree. Following earning her Master's Mrs. Williams worked to become Certified to teach advance Mathematics in the State of New Jersey. She was an Elementary school teacher in Neptune City retiring in 1995. Mrs. Williams is a communicant of St. Michael’s RC Church, West End, where she enjoyed singing as a member of the Choir. Mrs. Williams was pre-deceased by her grandson James A. Mazza in 2007. Surviving is her husband of 60 years, Edward H. Williams; two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah & Victor Yepello, Alva, FL and Victoria & James Mazza, Long Branch; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael H. & Sandra Williams, Long Branch and Patrick & Donna Williams, Long Branch; her sister Mary Harad, Largo, FL; seven grandchildren Jamie Mazza, Katy Williams, Kelly Williams, Megan Mazza, Brian Williams, Matthew Williams and Shannon Williams and three great grandchildren, Caylyn, Rosy & Maddy. Visitation will be Friday, October 2nd 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Mass of Christian burial will be offered Saturday, October 3rd, 11:00 am at St. Michael’s RC Church, West End. Burial will follow in Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport.
