Elizabeth M. Mellone, 82 a longtime resident of Long Branch died at her home on Monday, February 15th.

Betty was a graduate of Long Branch High School and had worked at several area companies before joining Circle Infinity as the Controller over 20 years ago. She was a parishioner of St. Michael’s RC Church.

She was an avid reader, enjoying all James Patterson books. Betty loved holidays, particularly Christmas and cooking for her family and friends. She was a loving and caring person who was a true friend to all. She was a role model to many and was always available for anyone who needed her friendship and care. Betty loved Broadway shows. 

Betty was pre-deceased by her husband Eugene Mellone in 1999. Surviving is her daughter, Linda Mellone of Long Branch.

Friends and family are kindly invited to a mass of Christian burial, Friday February 19th, 10:15 am at St. Michael’s RC Church, Long Branch. Interment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. Kindly note that for the health and safety of all guests, current state protocols of social distancing and wearing of facemasks are required.
