Elizabeth “Liza” Rae Burgess, 30, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021.

Liza was born and raised in Long Branch. She was a young talented dancer. She danced from the age of three until her early teens, competing in various dance competitions throughout the east coast. She danced Jazz, tap, and hip-hop. Liza enjoyed working at Babies R Us, Rite Aide and ShopRite and loved her Dunkin Donuts coffee. Most of all, Liza loved spending time with her children and family.  She was loved by many people.

She is survived by her parents Linda Rae and Robert A. Schulz; her two sons Jared and Jayden Burgess, and two brothers Travis Abel and wife Carol of Jackson, and Ronald Abel and wife Sari of Long Branch.  Also surviving are her two loving grandmothers, Dolores Bott of Long Branch and Georgette Schulz of Brick.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 15 from 3 to 7pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch.  A cemetery service will be held on Wednesday, June 16 at 11 am at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.
