Erma Pierce, 85, Oceanport, died Wednesday, April 25th at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was born to Edgar and Edna Pierce on April 18, 1927 in Long Branch, where she lived until moving to Oceanport 7 years ago. Miss. Pierce was a Print Supervisor at Fort Monmouth. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Long Branch. Miss Pierce was predeceased by her sister, Clara Ruth Laudenslayer and her brother Raymond Harris Pierce. She is survived by her sister, Hazel Pierce, with whom she lived; her sister-in-law, Cynthia Lois Pierce; her nieces Ruth Vint, Oakton, VA, Donna Sarkody, Oceanport, Nancy Simms, Tampa, FL and Kathi Sullivan, Long Branch; a great nephew, five great nieces and a great great niece. Visitation will be Tuesday May 1st, 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am at the Woolley Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch.
