Ernie Stass, 81, of Armonk, NY passed away on Sunday, May 15th.

He was born in Pyrgos, Greece in 1941 to the late Antonia and Dimitrios Stasinopoulos.

Ernie was President and CEO of All State Business Systems in Poughkeepsie, NY, an office equipment leasing company, which he spent decades developing with his great salesmanship.  He valued his business relationships and treated his customers like family, especially during the holidays.

Ernie enjoyed trips to the casinos at Atlantic City and Foxwoods with Carol, his significant other, and his son Adam.  He especially loved, and excelled at, poker.   Ernie enjoyed being around people.  He was outgoing and appreciated the art of comedy.  He loved to laugh and enjoyed sharing jokes with those close to him.  He also loved spending weekends in his garden, tending to his flowers and blooming trees. Most of all, he loved time spent with his family. There was nothing more important to him than family.  He was a beloved patriarch.

He is predeceased by his parents and his son Gabriel.

Surviving are his significant other, Carol Lugo of Armonk, NY; son, Adam Stass of Furlong, PA; his sisters Evelyn and her husband George Zachos of Marlboro, NJ; and Joanne Kokkinakis of Cream Ridge, NJ; three loving grandchildren, Isabella, Ashton, and Jaxson; three nieces, Terri, Toni, and Stella; his grandnephews Aoelln, Adrian, and Alexander, and his grandniece Arianna.

Visitation will take place on Monday, May 23rd from 11am – 1pm at Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, 20 Hillcrest Road, Holmdel, NJ 07733.  A funeral service will be offered at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, 454 Tennent Road, Manalapan, NJ 07726.
