Esther I. Miller, 97 a lifelong resident Long Branch passed away, December 24th at St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Mrs. Miller was a lifelong member of Asbury United Methodist Church, where she sang in Choir and was at a volunteer at many church functions. She was predeceased by her husband, James E. Miller in 1985. Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Robert Horner, Long Branch; three grandchildren, Bonnie Schupp, Mark Horner and Tracy Horner; five great grandchildren, Alfred, Robert, Emily, Eric and Jenna. Visitation has been postponed and will be Thursday, Dec. 30th, from 2-5 PM at the Woolley Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 31st, 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. You may light a candle of condolence by visiting www.woolleyfh.com.
