Frank Baglieri passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 91 in Brielle, NJ. In the days before his passing, he was kept constant company by his family.
Frank was born June 11, 1930, in No. Tarrytown, NY to Salvatore and Concettina Bellio Baglieri. He was raised there with his brother Sonny and sisters Connie, Francis and Jennie. He attended North Tarrytown High School, graduating in 1948. From 1949 – 1951 Frank played semi-pro football for the local Irvington Bulldogs while attending Iona College and worked as a driver for The Anchor Motor Freight Company and a Teamster.
Frank graduated from Packard Junior College and from the The American Institute of Banking and began working for The County Trust Bank in Yonkers, NY (BNY)
He started his career as a sales professional beginning as a Bank Loan Officer and then as a representative for New York Life. He then transitioned to an independent role in the motorcycle safety industry. He was a friend, mentor and coach to many and had a genuine interest in all people and their lives. He loved telling stories, giving advice and had many friends from everywhere. He raised a family in Gettysburg, PA, participating in kids’ tennis, golf, football, baseball, swimming and basketball. Frank loved teeing it up, playing cards, connecting with family and thoroughly enjoyed watching everyone grow up.
Predeceased by his wife, Marylee Baglieri and daughter Mary Lee ”Sissy” Pastirik, brother Sylvester “Sonny” Baglieri (casualty at battle of Normandy Beach) and sisters Jennie Hennessey and Francis Hogan.
Surviving Frank is his wife, Pam Baglieri, married June 28th, 2008 of Columbia, MD; his three sons: Michael Baglieri of Salisbury, MD, Gerard and his wife Minsun Baglieri of Cherry Hills Village, CO, and Peter and his wife Lisa Baglieri of Brielle, NJ; his sister Connie Grotto of Carmel, NY; 10 grandchildren: Christian, Graceson, MJ, Gabe, Damen, Olivia, Jack, Maryrose, Gabe, and Jacob; and 2 great-grandchildren: Carter and Monroe. Stepchildren Dr. Walter Everett of Ypsilanti, MI, Frederick Everett of Silver Spring, MD, and Meredith Everett of Daytona Beach, FL; 5 grandchildren: Christopher, Eric, Scott, John and Timothy; and 1 great-granddaughter, Niara.
Memorial Services are being planned and a notice to all concerned will be up shortly to provide details to those wanting to celebrate Frank’s life and pay respects with the family.
