Geraldine J. Strouse, 82 passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024 at home in Morganville, NJ surrounded by her loving family.

She was born and raised in Newark, NJ, to her parents, Carmine and Grace (Miele)Ciardi.

Geraldine shared a remarkable bond with her beloved husband of 43 years, David S. Strouse, Jr. They were married on November 10, 1963 and resided in Roseland, NJ before moving to Parlin, NJ where they raised their four children. The family eventually settled in Morganville, NJ.

Geraldine was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She dedicated her life to her family and friends, creating a home filled with laughter, love and the aroma of her incredible cooking. She had a gift for bringing everyone together around the table, where her delicious meals became the backdrop for cherished memories. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her family when they traveled the NHRA drag racing circuit.

She is survived by her four beloved children Tami Pegos, and her husband, Mike of Jackson, Kim Vail and her husband Michael of Aberdeen, David S. Strouse, III of Morganville, and Glenn Strouse and his wife, Michelle of East Brunswick. Her greatest joy was her ten grandchildren Ryan, Alexa, John David, Jenna, Thomas, David, Shaun, Luke, Jack and Jake. She cherished every moment that they spent together.

Visitation is Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, December 2, 11:00am at St. Clement R.C. Church, 172 Freneau Avenue, Matawan, NJ. Entombment will follow at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery, 361 Highway 79, Morganville.
