Geraldine “Geri” Woolley, entered eternal life on St. Valentine’s Day Sunday, February 14th, 2021.
She was born Geraldine Theresa Olivadotti on October 5th, 1939 in Long Branch, NJ. Geri attended Red Bank Catholic and Long Branch High School, eventually graduating with Long Branch’s “Green Wave” Class of 1957.
Shortly after the start of her career at JCP&L, she met and married the love of her life, Harold Theodore Woolley and settled in West Long Branch. She attended classes at Monmouth College, became a union shop steward at JCP&L and was an active member of many community organizations.
Geraldine was a loving, devoted mother and a friend to all whose lives she touched. She enjoyed hosting many traditional holiday events and cherished living at the Jersey shore.
She is predeceased by her husband Harold, her father Frank “Biff” Olivadotti and mother, Rose (Criscuolo) Olivadotti, her brothers Frank and Robert Olivadotti, and her niece, Tana Mia Ercolino.
Geri leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, diligence, and determination, as well as her daughter, Tamara Rose Woolley of West Long Branch and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family, friends and two loyal canine companions Bear and Scruffy.
A Mass of Christian burial Saturday, February 27th 10:00 am at St. Michael’s RC Church, 800 Ocean Avenue, Long Branch. Interment will be Tuesday, March 2nd at 1:30 pm at Monmouth Memorial Park, Route 33, Tinton Falls.
