Gloria E. Ciaravino passed away in her sleep, just before 4 pm. She was at home surrounded by family, just as she wished. Mrs. Ciaravino was born in Brooklyn, NY on Jan. 3rd, 1927. She lived in Brooklyn until moving to Freehold in 1996. Beloved by many she was sweet, kind and generous. Gloria was pre-deceased by her husband Joe, whom she is finally re-united with after 20 years. She is survived by her loving children, Joseph Ciaravino, Ocean and Margie Zamfotis, Atlantic Highlands; her beloved grandchildren, Gregory and his wife Shalaine Zamfotis, Dina and her husband Loukas Kasekas and Kristin Zamfotis; as well as her adored great grandchildren, Haiden and Lazaros. Visitation Wednesday, July 6th, 6 -9 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Mass of christian burial, Thursday, July 7th, 9:15 am, Church of St. Catharine, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel. Interment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery.
