I wish I could be there to see you off, Poppy. Miss you tons. My favorite memories with you are sitting around the breakfast table seeing who could make you laugh the most and listening to your ‘jokes.’ I will never forget how your eyes sparkled whenever you saw us; I always felt so special around you. You were loved and you will be very, very missed. Lots of love, Ebells

Always enjoyed breaking bread with Gordon around the table at Jeff and Janice’s. He greeted everyone with a smile and big hello. A good storyteller who enjoyed a laugh. Our condolences to Jeff and families.

I remember him fondly as my Little League coach for two years. I was not one of his better players, but he was patient and did his best to help me improve. A few years later in the Babe Ruth League, I was playing against the team he was coaching and hit a single. (Hits of any kind were a rare event for me.) He walked toward me, smiled, and said, "Nice hit, Jim!" Made me feel great. What a wonderful man. My condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.
