Grace A Rubino, 80 of Hazlet died on Saturday, April 10.
She was born to the late Rose and Michael Bencivenne in October of 1940 in Newark.
Grace grew up in Belleville and graduated from Belleville High.
Dancing was a big part of her life, she started dancing as a child and continued to dance into her adulthood, becoming a dance instructor and opening her own dance studio “Hazlet Dance Centre” in Hazlet. Grace would even go to NYC to take dance lessons from Phil Black.
Most important to Grace was family. She and her husband would often travel together and especially enjoyed Atlantic City and Disney World.
She is predeceased by her husband of 34 years Dominick Rubino.
Surviving are her children Michael Rubino of South Amboy, Joseph Rubino of Hazlet, and Jennine and her husband James Lakes of Hazlet, her sisters Mary Fahmie, and Theresa Rubino, four loving grandchildren Dominick, Nicole, Katie, and Victoria, and two great-grandchildren Julie and Joey.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 14th from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Burial will take place on Thursday, April 15th at Fairview Cemetery at 11:30 am.
