Jean Ann Moran, 66, of Aberdeen passed away at her home on Monday morning, March 11, 2013. Born in Jersey City, Jean lived in Bayonne for many years before moving to Aberdeen 15 years ago. She attended Jersey City State College where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree. Prior to her retirement, Jean worked on Wall Street for over 30 years for such firms as Weedon and Company and Solomon Smith Barney. After she retired, she worked as a receptionist at the Laurel Bay Nursing Home in Keansburg, NJ. Jean enjoyed the Jersey Shore, and she loved Irish music. Jean was a special person! She is survived by her sister Kathleen Boyle, 5 nephews Michael, Timothy, Eugene, Kevin, and Terry Boyle, her best friend Bill, and many friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1-3 and 6-8PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday 10:00AM at St. Clement R.C. Church 172 Freneau Avenue, Matawan. Interment will be in St. Anne Cemetery, Wall. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Sacred Heart Church, 1739 Ferry Avenue, Camden, NJ 08104

My friendship with Jean spanned 36+ years. I met Jean the first night I attended college in 1976 and we spent the next 7 years convincing each other that we could get through one more night class. We had many meals and many laughs along the way as my "college buddy" became a lifelong friend. I will always miss you Jean. Rest peacefully, my friend - until we meet again.
