Jean M. Hornak, 92, of Lincroft passed away on Wednesday morning, June 24th, 2015.

Born Jean Margaret Marcinko in Bridgeport, CT. she was a graduate of Bridgeport High School.She married Paul M. Hornak in Bridgeport in 1951 and lived most of her life in New Hartford, NY. For a number of years she worked as a Secretary at General Electric Company both in Bridgeport and Utica, NY, for a time assigned to the advertising dept. She was a former parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary R.C. Church, New Hartford NY, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and the Choir. Upon moving to NJ she became a parishioner of St. Leo the Great R.C. Church in Lincroft.

Mrs. Hornak was predeceased by her husband Paul M. Hornak in 1997, and by 4 brothers and a sister. Surviving are her daughter Elizabeth Dillon and her husband John of Tinton Falls, NJ her sons Paul of Theresa, NY, Joseph and his wife Elizabeth of Henrietta, NY, Michael of Laurys Station, PA, Lawrence and his wife Patricia of Athens, GA, 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel NJ on Friday June 26th from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday morning at 10:00A.M.at St. Leo the Great R.C. Church, 50 Hurleys Lane, Lincroft. Burial will be at a later date in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro, NY.
