Dear Mrs Kineavy and family. I am so sorry for your loss. Jerry was our lawyer but he was also our friend. He could always put a smile on my face. I remember when we lost our son Greg, we pulled into the cemetery and I saw Jerry standing there waiting for the funeral to come.It was so sweet of him to attend. I just found out about his passing,I was on vacation in July and I didn't see the newspaper. We definitely would have attended his wake and funeral. He was the best lawyer ever.We are really going to miss him so much.Well Jerry, you are up there with Greg now and I'm sure you will keep him laughing. You were the best and we loved you....Lilly

We were the best of friends spanning 38 years. After my big brother died, you asked to be my big brother. You taught me what it means to live to the beat of one's own drum. We share the total human spirit and left no words unsaid. I will do my best to continue your spirit. With much love and gratitude for your enduring friendship and more. We left no words unsaid, we shared freely our thoughts, feelings and now I have the burden of being the last of us 4 muskateers! You know, your wonderful spirit lives on!

I will miss jerry. The memories are too many to count but here's a few: Chasing zach around meadowbrook park, reading the Press at the kitchen table, bowl day with 3-4 tv's set up in the living room, perkins with aunt olga and he would always tell her she didnt have to pay but then would look at me after with this sinister grin when she would always take the check ( like he was happy she was paying lol), spring lake at the beach , going to Stone Harbor were some of the best times i ever had as a kid (thanks for having us) he was our all time quarterback on many occasions and i can still remember the huddles where all we could talk about was jerry's coffee/smokey breath, fri night trips to blockbuster ( before any of us could drive) , i remember sneeking down with the boys when we had a sleepover and sneeking past jerry as he watched God knows what black and white movie at 2am ( we were trying to sneek in the kitchen to get some polly-o string cheese and some pepsi (or years later we were sneaking down for sambuka lol) , when i heard the news the other day i was deeply moved and saddened because a part of me was raised at 6 Elizabeth Parkway and a major part of that time was spent with my best friends dad and my bud "Jer" Forever, "Dirt"
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Please know that your Passaic County Community College family extends its deepest, most heartfelt sympathies on the death of your beloved Husband. There is not one among us who has not suffered the trauma of a death sometime in our lives. Most have found comfort in paying the ultimate homage to a person who was dear to them. If there is anything we can do to lessen your pain, remember we are here to help.
