I had the privilege of being a childhood friend of Joanne's for 5 years as classmates at SS Lyceum. Fond memories of Bath Ave and playing with our dolls. Her beloved Dad would take us for brown bonnet ice cream cones we would have after dinner. I was so lucky to reconnect with Joanne for the past several years..Joanne was so special, as a childhood friend so fun, loving and very quick of wit..A treasure..Heartfelt condolences to Avery, Raleigh and Kirby and all the family..Truly a great loss to us all..

Dear, Avery, Raleigh and Kirby, I cannot begins to tell you how much your beloved Mom was adored by me and a host of other people who knew her for so many years. Being so true to herself, her indelible self, I always knew I'd leave her laughing and feeling like yeah, the world is crazy, but we can see through it and have a good time. She was one of the most genuine, sensitive people to grace the planet. I will always love her. You three were her shining stars. Keep shining!!! All My Best, Lisa Lubitz-Lowell
