Always loved seeing John's happy smiling face whenever i'd see him at Deal CC .He was a great inspiration these past few years .
Great guy, will be missed by all.RIP
Johnny was like a big brother to me. When I first moved to Long Branch from Scotland- I hardly knew anybody. Johnny was one of my first friends- I remember one time there was a terrible snow storm, and he dug out the walkway for me and my sister to get out. He was so kind and giving to us. Then as years went by, we ended up living around the corner from each other and having kids around the same age. So it was nice to keep in contact with Johnny and Linda over the years. What I can say about Johnny is that he was the ultimate gentleman and truly a man among men. He will be missed by all that knew him- a wonderful husband, father, leader in the community, and to the lucky- a friend. Rest in Peace Johnny and thanks for being such a wonderful friend.
As your spirit soars to the heavens I will remember you always my dear friend and confidant. My deepest sympathies to the family. Love Nancy

It seems like yesterday that we were teenagers growing up in Long Branch. I have seen you grow to be what you are today--a most remarkable, gentle, generous man. My heart goes out to Kenna, and to all his beautiful family. eva
A great man who adored his family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time. May all the wonderful memories bring peace to your hearts.
I spent the night looking through pictures-- I couldn't sleep, not with all the memories flooding in.. I remember you used to drive hunter and I to St. Mary's a lot, Sunday's with you and grandma, and breakfast afterward... I remember sittin on your lap while you watched the news... I lived going with you to Infiniti, and on long car rides... You always had a sense of humor and a light heart, and it breaks my heart that I won't hear your laugh again- that guttural laugh that turns into a high squeak when you would tell a funny story, and you wouldn't be able to breathe through the laughter enough to finish the story coherently. I will always remember you for your bright spirit and love and dedication to all of us- you loved your family so much! The last thing you said to me will be in my heart always- I love you grandpop- you set the bar high, and I aspire to be even half the person you were.
Dearest Uncle Johnny, You have been such a significant part of our family from the very start. You and Aunt Linda treated us as your own and helped us thrive as a young family starting out. Your advice, guidance, love and infectious laugh will always be treasured. Forever in our hearts... Rosanne and family

When you feel Lonely When You feel Lonely When a person you love passes away Look to the night sky on a clear day. The star that to you, appears to be bright, Will be your loved one, Looking upon you during the night. The lights of heaven are what shows through As your loved one watches all that you do. When you feel lonely for the one that you love, Look to the Heavens in the night sky above. We are thinking of you.
Sincerest sympathy to Linda and family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this sad time. Memories of him will be with all of you forever. Beth XXOO
Mr Brockriede was one of the finest businessmen I've had the honor of knowing. His CV shows his achievements in business, yet I'd like to add that he was also a man of compassion and patience. He set the standard for Ethics in every business endeavor. Mark, Carol, my condolences to you and your family: your father took pride in letting the community know that you are to follow in his footsteps: a tall order yet he seemed to be very proud of you.
There are so many memories: from going on car rides, to business meetings, church, and of coarse out to eat. I miss the days of being your right hand man and your cacciatore. I hope to have touched as many lives as you did in my life. You were a grandfather and dad to many. We love and will miss you!
Rest in peace dear cousin, we all have wonderful memories of you and hold them dear to our hearts, you will be missed by many and were loved by many.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
