I'm so sorry to read this. John was such a great guy, always so kind to me. I used to cut his hair. He always talked about the horse races. I always enjoyed his visits at the barber shop. What a great guy!! God bless him and his family. Sending prayers up. Xo .......Tonya Sustek

John was such a kind man who I considered a good friend. I always enjoyed seeing him and hoped I would see him again when this pandemic was done. He loved his family and spoke of them often. May your happy memories help to get you through this difficult time. He will be missed.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Myself, Evanthea Karounos left a message on May 9, 2021:
I have such wonderful memories of John and family going back to his grandfather's house and restaurant on Jones Walk in Coney Island, and all those years at the Three Hierarchs Church in Brooklyn, and later on arranging meetings at the Holmdel. Festival so we could see each other. My father loved him and so did I. He was one of my favorite cousins, and he was a wonderful man, and this is a big loss. Evanthea
