John F. Pastuszak, 90 of West Long Branch, died at Monmouth Medical Center on Thursday, January 29th. Mr. Pastuszak retired as a crossing guard for the City of Long Branch Police Department. He was Honorably Discharged from the US Army, serving in World War II. He was born and raised in Perth Amboy, NJ. He entered the U.S. Army in 1943, and was awarded bronze oak leaf clusters and the silver star. He is survived by his brother, Flloyd Pastuszak, FL; his former wife of 32 years, Josephine Farnsworth; nephew, Anton Pastuszak; neice, Nancy Cunliffe, step-niece, Michelle Basilici; several step-children and many step-grandchildren. Military Services will be held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ, Wednesday, February 18th,10:30 a.m. in the Chapel.
