Mike Squillante left a message on September 17, 2013:
Dear John, Patch and Family: While I never had the pleasure of having your Father as a coach, he made a tremendous contribution to the kids. He not only instructed them on the game, but gave them the tools to be responsible adults. Though he is no longer with us, his positive impact on us will last forever.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Mr. Martin was genuine through and through. Aside from being a great coach to so many, he also had a very witty and positive perspective on things that we will always cherish. With sincere condolences and wonderful memories ? Tommy Delehanty
Kevin Flanagan left a message on September 16, 2013:
Dear Pat, John and Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad. He was a great man. Mr. Martin has been one of the most influential men in my life. As a close family friend, father figure and most significantly as a mentor and coach, he inspired me to be a better man. I will carry with me always his words of advice and the many lessons of life he shared. Commitment and hard-work lead to success, loyalty to family, friends and teammates, fighting “the good fight”, taking time to laugh and love…these are only a few examples of the values he instilled in me. I feel so blessed to have been given the chance to visit with Mr. Martin very recently. We talked about the good old times. We laughed and we cried with tears of love, thankfulness and happiness. He was a great friend of my family and father. As I was walking out the door after our last visit together, he called me back to him and said: “Flan…remember… when the going gets tough…you’re a Buff.” God bless you Mr. Martin. I will never forget. Kevin Flanagan
