Susan and Wayne Winters left a message on February 5, 2021:
We are consumed with sadness and we weep in agony to learn of the untimely death of Jay, our dear brother-in-law. To all who knew Jay, he was not only a man tall in stature, he was the monolith and pillar of strength for his family. Jay was the problem solver; the available shoulder; the go to/fix it guy; the mentor and mender; the “assurance” of all will be okay, the thoughtful loving spouse, dad, grandpa and so much more. Our hearts are broken and this is the one time that Jay won’t be here to help mend them - he’s now with our Heavenly Father. While we can never fathom how difficult the loss of loosing him at this time must be for my sister, Marilyn, his spouse of 50+ years; his children: Christine, John Jr., Adam, grandchildren, numerous relatives and friends. We sincerely express our heartfelt condolences, and we are praying for you all during this most devastating heartbreaking time. “Death only comes to those who leave no memories; for whose existence was cherished, they will always be alive in the chambers of the heart”. Jay will be carved in the deepest chambers of all our hearts. God bless and may the soul of Jay rest in everlasting peace. We’ll forever miss you, Jay. With deepest sympathy to Marilyn and family. All our love, Susan, Wayne and Wayne Jr
