John Louis Lembo, Jr., affectionately known as “Skip,” passed away peacefully on August 4, 2024, with his loving wife Janice, of 59 years, and his only child John by his side.

Skip was born and raised on Staten Island, New York. He and his wife later moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where they lived and worked together for 38 years. They also enjoyed a lovely home in Scottsdale, Arizona, and touring and sightseeing the beautiful mid-west. They recently purchased a second home in New Jersey in order to enjoy more time with family.

Skip was a proud American who honorably served his country in the United States Navy.

Skip is predeceased by his father John Louis Lembo, Sr. and his mother Elizabeth Eckett. He is also predeceased by his half-sister Ann Eckett and half brother Buddy Eckett.

He is survived by his loving wife Janice J. (Ricglane) Lembo and son John L. Lembo, III. He is also survived by his special grandchildren Brooke A. Lembo and Anthony J. Lembo, his sister-in-law Lisa (Riclgane) Goodarz and brother-in-law Behrooz Goodarz and his three dear nephews, Justin A. Goodarz, Jarrod A. Goodarz, and Jordan A. Goodarz.
Skip was dearly loved, will be lovingly remembered, and missed by so many.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 9th 2-7 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Funeral Service, Saturday August 10th 9:30 am at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Interment to follow in Moravian Cemetery 2205 Richmond Road Staten Island, NY.
