Jack Lietz left a message on February 16, 2019:
To Fran & Family: Nice tribute to Jack. I didn't realize that Jack was in the USMC - that topic never camp in our many years of friendship. As I also was a Commissioned Officer after I graduated from St. John's University and was sent to Quantico for Officer training, I'm guessing he like me was in the PLC Program. When myself and other new home owners of Raritan Valley became friends and the men formed our own Softball teams in the "Strathmore Sunday Morning League," we were friendly enemies. But playing early Sunday morning sure knock hell out of the Saturday night parties! What was missing from the obit was that Jack was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Delray, FL and in St. Benedict KofC Council #11349. He also received his 4th Degree as a Sir Knight with St. Joseph's Assembly #679, Keyport, NJ. When we all look on Heaven's scenes, we will find the streets well guarded by the UNITED STATES MARINES!......Jack Lietz
