Joseph M. Paxia, 29, of Brick, died on Friday, April 19.
Joseph was born in Red Bank in 1994 and raised in Long Branch before moving to West Long Branch in 2003. He graduated from Shore Regional High School and began working shortly thereafter. Joseph worked as a handyman, and enjoyed carpentry most of all.
He loved working on cars, riding motorcycles, watching movies, and he especially enjoyed the ID Channel. Joe loved watching and playing sports such as football and hockey, rooting for his favorite teams, the Giants and Devils, as well as fishing, cooking, hiking, and the beach. Joe had a strong love for animals. Joseph was a very warm person who always had an infectious smile and laugh that let everyone know he was always willing to lend a helping hand.
He is predeceased by his father Joseph John Paxia, his grandparents Antoinette and John Paxia, and Meredith Rosado.
Surviving are his mother, Patricia Paxia, his son, Johnathan Paxia, his brother Marc Paxia, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, May 8th from 3pm – 5pm at Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street. A funeral home service will be offered at 4:15pm.
In lieu of traditional remembrances, the family asks with gratitude that donations in Joseph’s name be made to Patricia Paxia for his son Johnathan Joseph.
