Judith K. Acer, 78, of Eatontown, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 8th.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Judith graduated from Brooklyn College and began a lifelong career as a teacher in the New York City school system. After moving to New Jersey, she continued her educational career in Sayreville. She was a proud member of the Long Branch Public Schools community for more than 25 years, retiring in 2020.
In her personal life, Judith enjoyed many interests, including reading, spending summers at Monmouth Beach Bathing Pavilion, and walking on the boardwalk in Long Branch.
Judith cherished her family. She approached every role with warmth and devotion, whether as a wife, mother, mother-in-law, or grandmother.
Judith was predeceased by her husband, the Rev. Dr. Alfred C. Acer in 2008. Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Robert Tuck, of Somerset, NJ, her granddaughter Grace Tuck, and her nephew Charles Kern of Spring Hill, FL.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 13th from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Burial will be private.
