Julius T. Granato, 68 of Asbury Park died on Monday, April 24th at the Jersey Shore Medical Center. He was best known by his family and friends as Judd.
Judd was born in South Amboy and raised in Cliffwood Beach. He had lived his life in Monmouth County, and moved to Asbury Park in 2009.
He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. Judd along with his life partner Rocco Zoppi were the owners of Arje The Salon, Long Branch. Judd loved to vacation, cook and especially entertain and spend time with family and friends. He lived his life by the motto “Live for today, you could be gone tomorrow.”
Judd is survived by his husband Rocco Zoppi; his son and daughter-in-law, Shaun and Sarah Granato and his daughter and son-in-law, Ariel and Pete Bailey, Ashley Zoppi; his grandchildren, Lyla and Cossette Granato; Judd was loved by his many friends and family. He will be missed by all.
Memorial gathering will be Thursday, April 27th, 7 to 9 pm at Charley’s Ocean Grill, 32 Avenel Blvd., Long Branch.
