I met Karen at the NYC Housing Authority, and we quickly became friends. She was generous and caring—always asking about my husband and kids, and more recently, remembering every detail about my siblings and nieces and nephews as if we’d just talked about them yesterday. Her sense of humor could lighten any moment with a single line. I’m going to miss her deeply. It’s hard knowing she’s no longer here, but I’m so grateful for the laughter, the warmth, and the way she made everyone around her feel seen and cared for.

I never had the honor of meeting Matt’s Mom, but knowing him since we were kids he’s a kind hearted, smart and amazing guy. Not a doubt in my mind his mother isn’t looking down from heaven and is extremely proud, and will continue to be. God Bless Matt, his mother, and the rest of his family.❤️
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I had the honor of working with Karen for many years and had immense respect for her intelligence and commitment. She shared so many stories with me about her children and her pride and love for them all was so obvious. She was always at the ready with sage advice and a great sense of humor. A life too short but nonetheless full of impact and meaning.
