I met Kelly in 2018 while I was working at Metropolitan Magazine. It was her first cover story. We connected at Jue Lan for the launch of Chase and Kelly, a new show she was participating in. She arrived late, flustered and apologetic, which only made her more charming. We hit it off immediately; we were born a year apart and were both Tauruses who loved attention.
I appreciated that Kelly was funny and cool and seemed to like me. I truly enjoyed spending time with her.
Unfortunately, a little later, she became ill with Pleural Effusion. I visited her in the hospital, and all she wanted to know was why this happened to her and, later, how she would survive. After her battle, she was determined to help others facing similar challenges.
I introduced her to Preferred Health Magazine, where she graced the cover and discussed her recent illness. Kelly wanted to provide insight that could help others in similar situations, and I was grateful that she gave this new magazine a chance. She was a star, especially to those who knew her. Thereafter, we kept in contact throughout her latest illness, Glioblastoma. I regret I couldn't attend your second and final shoot, Kel, but we both know.
I didn't get to say goodbye to my friend, but I don't believe in goodbyes. I will see you again. You will always be the funniest, classiest, and most incredible person I know. I pray for your husband, beautiful son Bennet, your parents, Lucy, and all your loved ones. See you on the runway, friend.
Prayers for all the family and friends who will miss her deeply. She is safe in our Lord God's loving arms . God Bless
On Dec 1, four and a half years after the fatal diagnosis of Glioblastoma, my daughter in law Kelly Powers Doll (Steve's wife), passed into the hands of our Lord Jesus Christ. She was a warrior while fighting this deadly disease. The families reached out to help support her during three brain surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy and other treatments to contain this disease. She showed incredible courage while battling this cancer. They have a 3 year old son named Bennett. See below for a news write up: https://www.the-sun.com/.../fox-news-doctor-kelly-powers...
Lord, In this time of immense pain, we seek your comfort. Wrap your arms around us as we grieve for the loss of our Kelly.
Lord, surround us with family and friends with your love and grace as they walk along side me in this journey of saddness and grief. Thank you Lord, for the precious moments we shared together. Help me hold onto them and find comfort in the love we had. Lord, pour your healing balm over the wounds of grief and bring restoration to our spirits in Jesus name. Amen
My sincerest condolences to the Powers and Doll families for their loss. I have been at a loss for words since I heard the news because I remember Kelly as a bright and talented youngster during her days at St. Bartholomew School who received loving support from her parents and her friends. I pray that the sadness you all feel be lightened by our belief that Kelly is now with Him who loves her more than all our loves put together. May you find strength and consolation in each other. You all have my prayers for peace and comfort.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Dear Kelly Powers, Family and Fox News Team friends.
I lost my wife too, 3-years ago and it still hurts and I'll never get over it except for the peace of knowing as you will realize, Kelly and my wife, Anna Kasha are now with Jesus Christ and they will await our time by our kindness to others and living a righteous lifestyle with our Heavenly Creator.
God Bless all, and may God leave you with Loving Peace.

I knew Kelly from my National Review fellows class, in the time when she'd be on call for medical features on various news shows. She always had a sparkling wit, beauty and brains. We had such fun times in those days, including sailing and Philharmonic in the Park outings. I'm sorry to hear of her passing, and send condolences to her family.
The hard work, commitment, intelligence, kindness, and courage of Dr. Kelly Powers Doll inspired so many. For all those who love her dearly, we pray that Jehovah God's promises will provide a measure of comfort and strength. (Rev 21:3,4)
So sorry for your loss prayers 🙏🙏🙏

Praying our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ comforts all her loved ones and they rejoice in the knowledge of her welcoming homecoming.
It’s absolutely heartbreaking to hear of Kelly Powers Doll’s passing. I grew up just down the street from Kelly, and we both attended St. Bartholomew School in Yonkers, NY. Even from a young age, it was clear she was a remarkable person destined for success.
When my parents immigrated to New York from Portugal, Kelly and her family were incredible friends to us, playing such a meaningful role in helping my family adjust to life in America. I will always be grateful for the kindness and support you and your family showed us.
Kelly will be deeply missed. My prayers and heartfelt condolences go out to you, your family, and all who loved her.
My deepest condolences to all. Vera

My heart & prayers go out to family & friends of Kelly. I am simply a person who knows her from her FOX appearances, and always thought "what a wonderful future this young lady has". Yet it was cut, way to short. My faith, and personal experiences, leaves no doubt to me, this isn't "the end"...it's just the beginning...& you all will see her again. God Bless...and I am saying a prayer for you all to endure and keep the happy assurance in your hearts, until that day you reunite.🙏🙏🙏❤️
May she rest in peace.
A beautiful light left the earth this month. Though she may be gone from our sight, I believe that she continues to live on in our hearts, our thoughts, and will be watching out for her loved ones from above. 🩵
Forever more, my condolences, and I send my hugs and love to the family,
Emma.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I did not know her personally but I find it sad that someone so young should have to leave so soon. God bless

Kelly was a truly lovely, stunning, and elegant woman. Her talent on television was remarkable, and she graced the covers of magazines as a true Hollywood star. What set her apart was her impressive background as a doctor and surgeon. Her gentle and humble nature was a rarity in the TV industry, and she will be greatly missed by so many. May Kelly’s memory continue to be a blessing to all who knew and loved her. Sending prayers to her husband, son, and the rest of her family during this unimaginably difficult time. ❤️
Love,
Dr. Robi Ludwig
I am so sorry for your loss. She is with God in a wonderful place. No pain, no tears, and no sadness.
Kelly was such a lovely, stunning and elegant woman. She was so talented on TV and graced the covers of her magazines like a true Hollywood Star, only she was more impressive because she was a doctor/surgeon. Her gentile and humble nature was a rarity in the TV business. She will be greatly missed by so many. May Kelly’s memory be a continued blessing to all who knew her and loved her.
Sending prayers to her husband, son and the rest of her family during this unimaginably difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know your parents. Went to school with her mom. And me and my husband were good friends with Kelly’s parents. You’re in my prayers and thoughts.
I was lucky enough to have met Kelly in college at the University of San Francisco, when we were both transfer students in 1999. Though we spent much of our 25 years of friendship living cross-country from each other, we always picked right up where we left off and had many travel experiences and laughs (so many laughs) together. Kelly, you are gone far too soon, and I will miss you more than words can describe. To Steve, Bennett and all of Kelly’s cherished family and friends, you will always be in my heart as we mourn her loss.
Kelly and I met when we were interns at CBS News in 1998. We were fast friends and had many wonderful times in NY and later in San Francisco where we both lived during the same period. This is so unfair for a young woman with so much to give. I miss you Kel! I wish strength for your family. I know everyone who loves you will love and support Bennett. I wish we all had more time with you.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
I’m so sorry for the loss of this beautiful, classy lady, wife, mother, daughter and daughter-in-law…..
Sending prayers to this whole family and for the Lord to comfort each one and wrap each and everyone in His loving, caring arms…….
Sincerely,
Donna Fortner
Our sincere condolence to Kelly's family and friends. May she rest in eternal peace. Remembering Kelly as a little girl dancing and going to bible school in Yonkers!!
I had the wonderful chance to meet Dr. Kelly working as an Associate Producer in television. I would later have the opportunity to become her patient, as she was a remarkable surgeon. What I will remember most about Kelly, is that as gorgeous and accomplished as she was- she was so down to earth and so kind to everyone who crossed her path. I’m in tears as I write this because she was taking far too soon… but I suppose a real life angel like Kelly doesn’t stay long, and was called home to live as the beautiful angel that she was. My deepest condolences to Kelly’s family for the loss of such an incredible light. She was truly someone special.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
My deepest condolences and sympathies to the family of Kelly Powers.
Kelly promised she would visit me in Israel but unfortunately never got the chance. I would like to invite all the Doll and Powers family to visit here. Our friendship started on the first day of NYCPM school where our lockers and seats were always placed side by side as pollack and powers as alphabetically next to each other. You were so down to earth and accepting of everyone. You never had a bad thing to say about anyone else. When you came to Wyckoff Hospital for additional training, we were able to catch up and had a special bond. You really were a special person that I’ll miss. Through all your trials you stayed positive and for years waited for your precious Bennett to come. He was the light of your life. It sucks that I can’t make it to the funeral but I’m shedding tears here in Israel for you and your wonderful family. Be well. Love,
Daniel Pollack
It feels like yesterday when Kelly was a resident at BMC. She lit up any room she walked in. It was not just her beauty! Her effervescent personality and kindest heart was something I admired so much. I have so many memories of being on the night shift and chatting away. She was the sleep deprived resident with boundless energy and positive attitude. I was the nurse who was thought her night shifts were never ending but so grateful Kelly was on call to make her night so much nicer! I will never forget when I turned the tv on and saw her as the medical correspondent! I remember jumping up and down yelling to no-one I am so happy for you!!!! You look amazing! My heart is broken that this world has lost such a beautiful person. You were taken far too soon but God truly must have needed the sweetest angel to get his work done up there. It’s the only way I can make sense out of such a sad loss. My prayers are with the entire family. Know that there are so many people Kelly made such an impact upon. I am just one! May eternal rest be granted to your beautiful soul and may God’s perpetual light shine upon you. May you rest in eternal splendor in the arms of the holy family.
Kelly was a true inspiration and bright light in this world. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. ❤️
I will always remember your laugh, your zest for life and your goofiness. Those were my favorite things. Fly with the beautiful angels Kel, until we meet again. ♥️
Sincerest condolences to the family. A beautiful woman inside and out. So very sorry.

I am so saddened by the news of Kelly’s passing it feels like yesterday we were just in high school together. She always had a bright beautiful smile on her face and was such a sweet person. My sincere condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time she will always be in my prayers.
My deepest condolences to the whole family 🙏🏻
I am so thankful to have been a colleague and friend. I’m so so sad you’re not here. You built a beautiful life and family, and no one deserved it more. Sending love to your son and husband. You will be missed, in every way one can be.
Kelly was near and dear to my heart. I met her in Boston years ago when we lived there. My heart remains broken and cannot believe she of all people ended up with this awful disease. I will miss her vibrant smile and spirit.
Steve, I extend my deepest condolences. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
We only met once for about 5 minutes several Halloween's ago when you and Steve stopped with Bennett (he was a fireman that year). Your obituary is spot on about how quickly you could make friends. You immediately came across as a genuine and caring person. The worlds loss is heavens gain! I agree with the other post about the family leaning on the neighborhood for any needs. Rest in Peace.

We send our deepest condolences to the family of Dr Kelly Powers And prayers for their strength through this trying time. Kelly was a vibrant soul. She was a real person with a wonderful, loving family, a great career, and someone who battled with all the emotions of having fought heart disease, and cancer. She was a warrior. Kelly shared her story with me and called herself, “the luckiest unlucky girl”.”
Unlucky to have these diagnoses. But lucky for all the love and support, for being given another day to spend with her son Bennett, the apple of her eye; And her husband, whom she called her “rock.” She looked forward to bringing Awareness through what would be her new nonprofit organization, Brain Powers” - and we were proud to be a part of it all.
I know her light will live on through her family. May she now rest in heavenly peace.
Amen.
