Linda A. Landrigan, 62, of Oceanport, died Saturday, October 7th surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was born in Belleville, NJ. She grew up in Lyndhurst and graduated from Queen of Peace High School in N. Arlington. She met the father of her children in Newark while working for NJ Transit Rail Operations. Linda was an active member of the NJT Rail “Toot Toot” group, where she made lifelong friends. While at NJT, she went on to achieve a Bachelor’s degree from Montclair State University, and later worked as a Transcriptionist with Gribben Transcription Services.
Linda enjoyed playing many sports such as softball, basketball and volleyball. She was an avid reader and gardener. She loved going to the beach and attending the thoroughbred horse races at Monmouth Park. She found joy in cooking for her family, especially during the holidays; her meatballs, chicken parmesan, and crumb cake were her signature dishes and craved by all who would gather.
Linda is predeceased by her father and mother, Thomas and Patricia Geary, and her sister Debbie. She is survived by the father of her children, Kevin Landrigan; her two loving sons Sean and Brian; and her brother Michael Geary and his wife Linda, and their children Tommy and Tracey. She will be missed by all who were privileged to know her.
