Linda Amiano, 69 of Hazlet died on Monday, August 2.
She was born in 1952 to the late Mary and William White of Paterson, New Jersey. Linda’s family later moved to Newark, and finally settled in Irvington, where she graduated from Irvington High School.
After high school, Linda went to work for the Ormos Diner in Irvington. It was there, where she met the love of her life, John. She and John married in 1973 and later had a beautiful, daughter, Carrie. For the next almost 50 years, Linda and John lived and loved life together. They enjoyed travel, especially cruises to Florida, trips to Atlantic City and Las Vegas.
Linda was an excellent cook and would often make meals using ingredients directly from the garden she so proudly grew. She was always happy to lend a helping hand to those that needed it, and was caring, giving, and loving.
She is predeceased by her parents, her sister Joanne, and daughter TinaMarie.
Surviving is her husband, John, her daughter, Carrie and her husband, Ronald Warnovics of Hazlet, her step-son, John Amiano, Jr. of North Carolina, her sisters Barbara, Jeanne, and Marie, and her step-grandson Anthony.
Visitation Sunday, August 8 from 1 pm – 4pm at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel with a Funeral Service offered at 3:30pm.
